Review: Brighter Than the Sun

Brighter Than the Sun Brighter Than the Sun by Maya Banks
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Brighter Than the Sun is the eleventh book in the KBI series by Maya Banks. If you haven't read any of this series I strongly suggest you do so. This book is no exception to any of the rest action packed and extreme measures will be taken to protect one of their own. The KGI are a great team of special ops that do whatever is necessary to take care of the good guys.

Zoe is a college friend of Rusty's. So when Rusty brings her home no one really expects anything. Zoe is running for her life. Her entire life she has been sheltered inside her father's world. Then when reality hits she has no where to go but to her only friend Rusty who just happens to be an expert at hiding in plain sight.

Joe is one of the team member's of KGI and sworn bachelor. There is no way he will ever be like the rest of his brother's and pretty much bowing at a woman's feet. He can't quite figure it out yet but something about his sister's friend is disturbing him. He can tell she is scared but of what? Is this all in his head because he feels an irrational pull of passion toward her or is she really running scared of everything around her.

Joe and Zoe are so combustable and compatible. The story of Joe being star struck by a woman is absolutely to die for. It is almost as good as Steel the ice man falling apart over a woman. Another wonderful read by Maya Banks.
